RapVideo.ai ("RapVideo", "we", "us") is an AI rap video generator available at www.rapvideosai.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who processes it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, your account, and every video you create with the Service.

In short. We collect only what we need to create, deliver, and charge for your videos. Your photos go to our AI video provider solely to render the video you request and to run automated safety checks. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train our own models. You can ask us to delete your photos, videos, or account at any time.

1. Your Photos and Videos

Uploaded photos are used for one purpose: to render the rap videos you ask for and to run automated safety checks on your inputs and the output.

• Photos are sent to our AI video provider for rendering and moderation only.
• We do not use your photos or videos to train our own models.
• We do not sell your photos or videos, and we do not use them for advertising.
• Upload only photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission. Never upload a photo of a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You can ask us to delete your photos and videos at any time through a support ticket.

API Mart, our AI video provider, processes your photos to render your video. Its handling of that data is governed by its own terms and by our agreement with it.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Your email address, display name, and password hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name, email address, and avatar that Google shares with us. Passwords for email accounts are stored as salted hashes; we never store them in plain text.

Content you provide

• The photos you upload: one photo per person, up to two people, or one photo showing both.
• The stage, occasion, model, resolution, duration, and aspect ratio you choose.
• The short lyric topic you enter.
• The videos we render for you, including previews and finished files.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction records such as the order number, product, amount, currency, status, and billing email. We never receive or store your full card number.

Technical and usage information

When you use the Service, we collect:

• IP address, request timestamps, and request metadata in server logs;
• device, browser, and operating system information;
• country and language preferences;
• pages you visit and actions you take, such as uploading a photo, starting a render, opening checkout, or downloading a video.

We also record product events for signed-in users, such as "render started" or "checkout opened", so we can support you and improve the Service.

How you found us

When you arrive through a link with UTM parameters, we store those parameters in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days. We also store the referring page in a first-party cookie. When you create an account, we save these values, together with your country, IP address, and language preference, on your user record. This is first-touch attribution: it tells us which channel brought you to RapVideo.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• keep you signed in and protect your session;
• remember your language and theme choices;
• remember your cookie-consent choice;
• measure attribution as described above;
• measure aggregate usage through Google Analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and video creation from working.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• Render your videos. Send your photos, stage, occasion, lyric topic, and render settings to our AI video provider.
• Run safety checks. Screen your lyric topic, photos, and the finished video with automated moderation.
• Store and deliver files. Host your photos and videos in cloud object storage and serve them to you.
• Process payments and credits. Create orders, charge your payment method, grant credits, and unlock videos.
• Keep the Service secure. Detect abuse, enforce the content rules in our Terms of Service, apply rate limits, and debug failed renders.
• Operate the business. Send our team an internal notice when an order is paid, containing the buyer's email address, the product, amount, time, country, and acquisition channel.
• Communicate with you. Send account messages such as email verification, password resets, and replies to your support tickets.
• Improve the Service. Understand which pages and features are used, measure conversion, and test different versions of pages and offers.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

• Contract. To provide the Service you requested, including rendering, storage, and payments.
• Legitimate interests. To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
• Consent. For analytics cookies where consent is required, and for any optional communication.
• Legal obligation. To keep transaction records and respond to lawful requests.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

5. How We Share Information

• API Mart, our AI video provider, which receives your photos and render settings to create the video you request and to run safety checks.
• Our cloud hosting and storage provider, which hosts the Service and stores your photos and videos, and our database host.
• Stripe, our payment processor, which handles checkout, charges, and refunds.
• Google Analytics, which measures aggregate usage. It may set its own cookies. Where our cookie banner is enabled, we ask for consent before analytics cookies are set.
• Our email delivery provider, which delivers verification, password-reset, and support messages.
• Our internal team notification channel, which receives paid-order notices containing the buyer's email address, the product, amount, time, country, and acquisition channel.
• Authorities, where required by law, or where necessary to protect the Service, our users, or people depicted in content.
• A successor entity, if we are acquired, merge, or transfer the Service, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention and Deletion

• Photos and videos are kept so you can view and download them, until you delete them, ask us to delete them, or delete your account. Backup copies expire on a normal rotation cycle.
• Account information is kept while your account is active.
• Order, payment, and credit records are kept as long as accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention rules require.
• Attribution and product-event records are kept while they are useful for measuring and improving the Service, and are deleted or anonymized with your account.
• Server logs are kept for a short period for security and debugging.

To delete photos, videos, or your whole account, open a support ticket. We will act within a reasonable period, except for records we must keep by law.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Access to production systems and stored files is restricted to personnel and providers who need it. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and keep your sign-in credentials private.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• export your information in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent for cookies or optional communications.

To exercise any of these rights, open a support ticket or email support@rapvideosai.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If someone uploaded your photo without permission, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, or the higher minimum age where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, or that a minor's photo was uploaded without guardian consent, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Processing

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. If a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will announce it in the product or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
