Hotel Lobby CapCut Template: Where to Find It

Oct 29, 2026RapReel teamRapReel team

Where the Hotel Lobby CapCut template lives, how to use it, the four limits of a one-face template, and the two-photo route around them.

The short answer: there is no official Hotel Lobby template. Creators upload their own, so the supply changes from week to week. You can still find one, use it in a few minutes and post it. This page shows where to look, what the format can do, and where it stops.

What's new on this page

  • 29 October 2026: first published.
  • Template availability changes constantly. If a link is dead, the template was removed or made private.

Where to find the Hotel Lobby CapCut template

Two routes work.

From TikTok. Find a Hotel Lobby video you like. Above the caption, a label reads "CapCut · Try this template". Tap it and CapCut opens with the template loaded.

From inside CapCut. Open the Templates tab, search "Hotel Lobby", and sort by most used. The top results are the ones currently circulating.

Three caveats before you start. Some templates are locked to a country. Some need CapCut Pro. A template that loaded last week can be gone today, because the creator deleted it or the platform removed it.

How to use the template, step by step

  1. Open the template and tap Use template.
  2. Pick the photo it asks for. The prompt usually wants one clear, front-facing face.
  3. Wait for processing, then watch the preview.
  4. Tap Export, then post to TikTok or save the file.

That is the whole workflow. It is fast, free and genuinely fun. The limits come after.

What a CapCut template can and can't do

Four limits matter.

  • One face. Most templates swap a single face. If you want two people in the booth, you need a different tool or a template built for pairs, and those are rare.
  • A fixed performance. The output is the original clip with a new face: same moves, same framing, same lyrics. You cannot change the song, the timing or the scene.
  • Templates disappear. They get pulled or break, often right when a trend peaks. A video that depends on a template depends on a file you do not control.
  • Mute risk. The original recording stays in the result. Platforms that flag copyrighted audio can mute the post or remove it, and the template offers no way around that.

None of these are bugs. A template is a shortcut through someone else's edit, and a shortcut only goes where the editor went.

The other way: make it from two photos

RapReel generates a new performance instead of editing an old one. Two photos go in, one per person, or a single photo with both of you. The pair appears on a stage, moves on its own, and raps a song written for them.

Because the song is new, there is nothing for a platform to flag. Because both faces are in the scene from the start, you get a duo rather than one swapped face. The render takes up to about five minutes in a browser, with no app to install, and the download is a vertical MP4 with no watermark.

You can also choose the sound: the Hotel Lobby track, your own 2 to 15 second verse, or a rap the AI writes from a topic of up to 120 characters.

Which one should you use?

Two people in the booth, both movingRapReel, or another studio

What about your dog or cat?

Templates are built around human faces. Point one at an animal and the result usually fails: the swap does not find the landmarks it expects, and the output looks melted.

From photos, pets work. Upload one clear, front-facing photo of the dog or cat and put them beside a person, or pair two pets. The same booth, the same microphone, the same short rap. Results vary, so start at 480p and check before you spend more credits.

Tips either way

  • Use a front-facing photo with even light. Whatever is in the photo ends up on stage: the face, the hair, the outfit.
  • Crop to one person, or one animal, per photo.
  • Ask before you use someone's face. A rap video with a friend's face is still a video with a friend's face.
  • Keep it vertical, 9:16, for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
  • Do not use celebrities or public figures, and get a parent's permission before featuring a child.
